Episode 70: Bring the Noise 2009 Part 1- DC Comics

Shag and I sit down for part one of our two part look at what is coming down the pike comic book wise in 2009.  This week we tackle DC Comics and I am going to warn you I am a whiny, whiny fanboy in this episode.  I have very little good to say about what DC has in store for 2009 and while part of me feels that I was a little too fannish it is what it is.  Topics include Battle for the Cowl, Superman in 2009, Flash: Rebirth, Blackest Night and what I see as DC’s biggest problem at the moment.  Actually problems would be a better word to describe it.  Shag also has a surprise announcement at an upcoming DC book that is sure to get fans talking.

As always you can e-mail via the handy link to your right.  I also direct your attention to the iTunes link, the RSS feed and the link to the Official Views Forums.  The forums have been a lot of fun and I invite everyone to go have their say.  Also to your right in the Friends of section is a link to Shag’s blog.  Go check it out.  It’s keen.

Next week: Marvel.  I’m a lot nicer in that one.  I promise.

Don’t feel bad about the episode. I really enjoyed it, Ya it was a little negative but it was kind of funny and its like you said if they go through all this to get us to buy into there universe its totally excitable that we get attached and don’t like it mucked with. Thanks for the run down on what is coming I learned some things I didn’t know. Thank you for reading my email and cant wait to hear what’s coming from Marvel. Maybe you and Shagg can get me to read more then one Marvel book.

don’t worry about being negitive, from the sounds of it DC deserve everything the fans throw at them for screwing around with the DCU that they have come to love
