Welcome, one and all to Views From The Longbox!  Views is a (somewhat) weekly podcast hosted by me, Michael Bailey. The subject?  Comic books.  See, I likes me some comic books.  Like them a whole heck of a lot actually.  Some might call it a hobby but I know it for what it actually is…a hopeless addiction.  To satisfy this irrational and (as some would say) unnatural obsession with comics I started this podcast back in 2007.

While any and all comics can, have been and will be discussed I focus mainly on super-heroes because…well, I prefer the super-hero genre over all others.  I podcast solo on some of these episodes but occasionally I will be joined by someone I have managed to sucker talk into coming on the show and jaw about comics. One of those suckers fantastic and amazing people is my good friend the Irredeemable Shag, who runs a couple of blogs of his own.  One is called Once Upon a Geek.  The other is called  Firestorm Fan.  He also co-hosts The Fire and Water Podcast, which can also be found at Firestorm Fan.  So check those out because they are rather keen.
